Alvern Media’s petrol pump nozzles were selected for the Essex County Council’s ‘Stop Means Stop’ campaign because of their capacity to reach motorists quickly and effectively with a minimum amount of wastage. Forecourt media allows us to target Essex motorists specifically at relatively low entry costs. This, coupled with a geographically relevant message, makes it a highly effective medium for our campaign.
The success of the ‘Stop Means Stop’ campaign was based on the reduction of speed related driving offences with the implementation of speed cameras. As a whole, speed offences were reduced considerablyimmediately after the campaign commenced.

| Alvern Media’s nozzles were an ideal communication tool to reach our target audience of working professionals. Following the campaign the level of enquiries and attendance at our events went up by 40 per cent. The Environment Agency trialed new ways to change people's behaviour to discourage them from fly tipping. The pilot campaign, which ran in the Derby area, used Alvern Media's pump nozzles to directly communicate to the prime culprits, drivers.
This was the first time the Environment Agency used Alvern Media and it represented a cost effective and innovative way to reach individual drivers. The service received was excellent and we received a prompt response to any requests we made. |

The nozzles are an effective way for the Gilder Group to run a proximity campaign which is communicated to a captive audience. It also allows me to reach the right people in a cost effective and timely manner.
In August the Gilder Group advertised on the pump nozzles as part of a multi-media campaign including press and radio. That month, the VW website had 16,000 hits on the model advertised, 8,000 of which came from Gilder Volkswagen.
Alvern has enabled the Gilder Group to position itself as the dealer group of choice for the region.
